Leorio, appunto, non deriva da nessuna famiglia particolare, ne ha poteri come occhi scarlatti o altro. E' un semplice cristo e questo suo " non essere raccomandato " che lo differenzia dagli altri tre personaggi, lo fa pagare pegno. Non per niente è il più grande ed anche il più lento nell'apprendere le cose.
Allo stesso tempo però credo che l'evoluzione di Leorio sia la mia preferita, perchè appunto rispecchia più di tutti la realtà: in un mondo ipotetico in cui esame hunter e nen esistessero davvero credo che tutti noi potremmo al massimo essere un Leorio.
E questo suo essere un uomo comune in un contesto sbagliato ( non per niente durante l'esame è del quartetto quello che più rimane sorpreso delle varie capacità degli altri e quello che più si ritrova a diventare hunter per culo ), lo rende un personaggio affascinante, unico nel suo genere, che è raro trovare negli altri manga shonen. Altrove ci si ferma a ragazzini di 14 anni che hanno superpoteri e girano per il mondo con cappelli di paglia invece di andare a scuola. Leorio no, è un ventenne con molti limiti ma attaccato alla realtà, e in questo c'è la scelta di fare il medico.
