Hunter x Hunter ritorna... ma con quale saga??

-after the last two arc two groups are formed
-both have the goal to discover the dark continent
-team 1: gin, gon, kaito, panda guy and leorio who currently has a semester break
-team 2: beyond netero and his crew plus pariston
-it’s like two nations trying to discover America!
-meanwhile kurapika is shown
-he managed to get the eyes of his comrades back but he still wants revenge
-instead of killing the whole genei ryodan which would be troublesome
he focuses on kuroro
-with the help of his underworld contacts kurapika hears of the dark continent and that kururo approximately arrived there a while ago
-kurapika decides to team up with gon
-there is something like mist consisting of nen in the middle of the ocean and all around the known world that separates it from the dark continent
-after long studies gin found out that there is a small part that is the least impenetrable so that a skilled nen user can use his nen to protect himself
-otherwise one would take serious damage as if you’re blocking a fist of nen without having knowledge of it
-both teams arrive at the dark continent but at different parts of the island
-they soon notice that the bioata is completely different from the known world
-they also discover small colonies of humans that are technically underdeveloped because of the harsh conditions on the island
-gin reveals his primary goal when arriving
-the thing he was ultimately looking for is gon’s mum which is a resident of the dark continent
-she went on an expedition 15 years ago and met gin in the known world
-they fell in love with each other but soon after giving birth to gon she disappeared
-kaito’s goal is to find out more about the tree of life and his rebirth
-panda guy swore to not leave kaito’s side
-after travelling for some days where they had to fight wild fights and discovered strange things and stuff they arrive at a village
-it is a little tribe and gon’s mum seem to be a part of it
-gin wants to know what happened and stuff
-instead of her the elder answers and explains the truth about nen and the life tree
-he says that nen is part of everything and is produced by the tree of life
-when someone dies the nen in his body returns to the tree
-the tree isn’t able to produce infinite nen so it basically it lends it to all creatures
-it was a perfect cycle until humans discovered how to use nen
-used nen doesn’t return to the tree and is given to the athmosphere causing anomalies like the mist of nen and mutations of animals like chimera ants
-also the tree isn’t able to reproduce the nen which leads to losing it’s own life energy
-the tribe found out about this around 15 years ago and the expedition of gon’s mum to the known world confirmed their theory
-she returned in order to inform the tribe
-since that time the tribe refuses to use nen anymore to protect the tree
-knowing they couldn’t convince the people of the known world they accepted the fate
-at the current situation the planet only got maybe twohundred years left before the tree and all creature with it die
-there is another surprise for the group
-of of the villagers is kuroro
-after having found the nen remover in the known world he continued his journey
-he knew that his prophecy wasn’t fulfilled yet
-after having arrived kuroro decided to join the tribe
-for the first time he felt like having a real home and a family
-he no longer was part of the ryodan and doesn’t use his nen anymore
-kurapika gets mad and punches him after the explanation
-kuroro doesn’t’t defend himself making kurapika even more angry
-kuroro states that he accepts the death as a punishment for his deeds
-kurapika challenges him but realizes that kuroro won’t fight him
-mentally at the end kurapika leaves the village
-outside he gets attacked by some stranger
-kurapika doesn’t stand a chance because of his mental condition and his restricted nen
-he gets mortally wounded
-gon, leorio, kaito and pando look after kurapika
-when finding him leorio and panda head back to the village for medical supply
-leorio is determined to rescue because he already lost a friend unable to help
-gon in ragemode chases the guy that almost killed kurapika
-kaito follows him
-back in the village the elder shares his assumption of the attack
-it has to be a guy that once was a part of the tribe
-he broke up with the tribe after finding out the truth about nen
-instead of looking for a peaceful way he decided to kill nen skilled humans on the dark continent in order to give some nen back to the tree and prevent them from wasting it
-he also convinced other guys to join him and formed a rather radical group of nen hunters
-they paradoxically use nen to kill nen skilled humans
-while chasing the attacker gon and kaito come across the beyond netero’s camp which currently is under attack of some nen hunters
-beyond and his crew don’t seem to haven problems in dealing with them so that gon and kaito don’t interfere
-gon’s flair leads them to the tree of life after a while
-around that giant tree there is another small village
-kaito and gon are suddenly surrounded by the villagers
-after finding out that the leader of the village is the one who attacked kurapika and him explaining his intentions a fight begins
-they quickly defeat the subordinates but the leader is tough
-gon being mad and not listening to kaito’s warnings punches the tree of life creating a hole
-nen exhausts from the hole making gon able to absorb it temporarily
-thinking that kurapika is dead gon finally manages to defeat the nen hunter
-gon can’t control his feelings and kills him
-kaito and gon return to the camp where kurapika no more hovers between life and death thanks to leorio
-kaito and co want to inform the hunter association about the nen issue and decide to first discuss things with the other team
-gin, kaito, gon and panda guy are leaving the village while leorio treats kurapika
-meanwhile illumi is trying to find kurapika and alluka to bring them back home
-he manages to find them in a cabin on top of a hill
-after opening the door the story switches back to gon and his group
-they arrive at the beyond’s camp and start to discuss the issue
-pariston then reveals his intentions of making the dark continent a big playground and an exam place for candidates for his own amusement
-he plans to transport the 5000 remaining chimera ants to this place making the opponents
-he also announces that they couldn’t leave with knowledge of his plans and the truth of nen
-beyond wasn’t aware of pariston’s plan and teams up with gon’s group to stop pariston
-his crew betrays their former leader and join pariston because they were promised rich rewards
-a battle begins that team gon can win
-panda gets fatally wounded though after blocking a hit that was destined for kaito
-panda dies after telling kaito that he repaid his debt
-pariston is alive and is taken as a prisoner in order to get convicted by the hunter association
-they return to their camp where kurapika slowly recovers
-the hunter plus beyond decide to leave the continent when suddenly earthquakes and stuff begin to happen all over the island
-the elder of the tribe tells the group that too much nen was used in the near of the tree causing weather anomalies
-the group then heads to the tree for research while heavy storms rage
-when arrving they discover that the hole caused by gon’s punch still exhausts nen
-more and more nen is blow into the athmosphere
-kaito tells the group that there would be no way to stop it but then comes up with an idea
-if nen used in the near of tree causes anomalies then the opposite should help sealing the ‘wound’
-he then sacrifices himself before anyone can interfere
-with his last words he tells the group that he found the secret of his life and that his rebirth was unnatural anyways so he just gives his life back to the tree
-after some drama including gon’s feeling of guilt and the stuff he, leorio, kurapika beyond and the imprisoned pariston leave the island
-gin stays on the dark continent with gon’s mum and promises gon to meet again one day-kuroro also stays and kurapika gives him a promise that he would kill him if he harms an innocent person again
-back in the known world beyond contacts cheadle and hands over pariston
-cheadle immediately arranges meetings between the zodiacs to discuss about the nen issue
-meanwhile many hunters get assassinated
-there seems to be no logical reason for it and the situation gets even worse when a member of the zodiac gets killed
-a witness of the murder describes the killer as a young boy with white hair
-when gon hears about that he knows that the description fits killua
-with the help of leorio and kurapika he begins to observe some high-ranked hunters hoping to catch the assassin in the act without sharing his assumptions with the hunter association
-after some days of observation they witness a hunter getting attacked and killed before they can help
-the killer is illumi though
-he notices their presence
-knowing that they cannot escape gon, kurapika and leorio confront illumi
-illumi has no intentions of fighting and tells them not to interfere in his business and because of being friends with killua he would spare their lifes for the moment
-gon asks about killua but illumi leaves without responding
-gon chases him
-kurapika and leorio can’t keep up with the them
-illumi followed by gon then arrives at a nearby forest where killua already already awaits illumi
-gon arrives and wants to know whats going on and he yells at killua and stuff
-killua appears vacantly and doesn’t respond
-illumi states that killing gon would make a perfect test for killua
-he then orders to kill him and leaves
-gon tears up and killua attacks him
-gon hardly defends and is getting beaten up for a long time
r city also head there when hearing of gyro’s plans
-meanwhile hisoka arrives at kukuro mountain after illumi called and told him what has happened
-while illumi is certain that killua would follow his orders and kill gon hisoka states that both would come there to hunt him down
-hisoka also insists on staying in case that something is going to happen
.his true intention is to fight gon though
-gon and killua finally arrive at kukuru mountain while he group of hunters arrive at meteor city where gyro together with the remaining chimera ants like welfin concentrate their troops consisting of meteor city residents that were born as scum and that share gyro’s fanatic ideologies
-a big percentage of the residents are already loyal to him while the remaining residents are hunted down as traitors which leads to a civil war
-the hunter group is inferior in numbers causing trouble to even enter the city
-meanwhile killua and gon encounter hisoka at kukuro mountain
-hisoka tells them that killua has
to return alone , otherwise alluka would die
-while that is a lie they accept the conditions and killua leaves
-hisoka now finally challenges gon
-gon is mad because of his threatening against killua and alluka and fights him
-both seem to be equally strong now
-the ryodan meanwhile arrive at meteor city and temporarily join forces with the hunters in order to free the city from gyro knowing that both groups wouldn’t stand a chance alone
-civil war gets even worse making it difficult for the group to get anywhere near the gyros ‘castle’
-gyro announces by loudspeakers that there are foreign invaders in town and that a rose bomb was planted within in the city ready to be blown up if anyone tries to enter the castle
-the group is forced to withdraw for the moment
-killua meanwhile meets and challenges illumi near the family estate
-gon is able to defeat hisoka after a hard fight but spares his life
-hisoka tells gon that this was his first defeat but at the same time the most exciting fight he has ever had
-he
also tells gon that illumi already killed alluka for the sake of the zoldyck family
-gon is shocked and despite having almost no power left he runs after killua while hisoka leaves
-killua is having problems with fighting illumi
-illumi knows his weakpoints and manipulates him in order to weaken him mentally
-gon arrives and tells killua what has happened to alluka
-illumi immediately knocks out gon with a single hit
-gon isn’t able to defend himself anymore and faints
-killua though thinks that gon is dead instead of being unconscious
-killua loses it and collapses
-illumi states that killua finally is free from all bonds and pats his head
-he heads back to the family estate and requests killua to follow him
-killua gets back on his feet and follows him at first
-but then suddenly he uses kanmuru to charge illumi with lightning speed and pierces him from behind
-illumi dies
-the imprisoned pariston is shown assigning some guy with offering a deal to gyro
-an army of 5000 chimera ants in exchange for his fre
edom
-killua realizes with tears in his eyes that gon is still alive
-knowing he can’t face his family he leaves kukuru mountain together with gon
-while killua is suffering from the loss of alluka they receive a call from morau who describes the hopeless situation at meteor city and asks gon and killua to join them because every single hunter is needed
-meanwhile a group led by welfin is sent out from gyro to free pariston
-the zodiacs try to mobilize hunters to send them as reinforcements to meteor city
-the governments of the leading nations don’t want to interfere in the war because of meteor city being an anarchistic place and being frightened of assaults
-a convoy that is supposed to bring pariston to a maximum security prison is attacked on it’s way by welfin’s group
-pariston cand be freed and lead the group to some kind of giant underground lab where the ants are supposed to be researched
-meanwhile gon and killua together with some other unknown hunters arrive at meteor city and join forces with the
others
-they make a plan to infiltrate the castle without gyro triggering the bomb
-knowing that gyro wouldn’t mindlessly trigger it they decide to start a turmoil in the town to attract gyro’s attention while a small group enters the castle by an underground entrance
-the assault group is formed of gon, killua and morau (because they were in a similar situation a while ago) and phinks knowing meteor city inside and out who told the group about the hidden entrance
-the other hunters led by beyod and novu enter the town and fight their way through the residents
-meanwhile welfin’s group realizes that the ants where already brought to a safer place by the hunter association and that this is trep set by pariston to get rid of them easily
-they get attacked by former sympathisants of pariston while he is able to escape
-the assault group arrives at inner castle and quickly defeat the bodyguards without gyro noticing it
-they manage to get to gyro and realize that the bomb was a bluff
-gyro is physically weak and
doesn’t try to attack the group
-after some talk gyro surrenders saying that the civil war can’t be stopped anymore
-gon is getting mad about gyro’s sinister acts and wants to attack him but is held back by morau
-gyro gets imprisoned and the hunter plus the ryodan move back knowing that gyro was right about the war
-they deliver gyro to the hunter association while the zodiacs assure them to take care of the war peacefully
-then there is a timeskip/killua and gon arrive at whale island
-gon hugs the afflicted killua and tells him that he will always have friends, family and a home
-they together then think about what has happened since they know each other and who they met on their yourney and how much they both have grown up, and commemorate the ones who have died
-heavy armed troups of soldiers assigned by the hunter association approaches meteor city meanwhile
-a massacre is shown in which most of the residents die
-the hunter association sentences gyro to death and his execution is shown
-there is a last meeting between the left zodiacs
-they decide to use nen only in emergenciey from now on but they know that the planet is going to die some day because of mankinds’s behaviour
-afterwards the zodiacs dissolve because they are no longer complete
-beyond netero refuses the offer to become a hunter and leaves
-pariston is still free watching a falsified report of the meteor city incident on a big screen in the centre of an unknown town
.kurapika is shown, still sufferig but knowing he did the right thing
-he then looks at leorio and smiles
-final scene includes gin and gon’s mum sitting in front of the life tree while a dying leaf falls down
